Youth Program Staff

Do you want to positively influence the lives of children and youth, encourage families to adopt healthy habits, and meet the needs of your community? The Hampshire YMCA is looking for motivated Youth Program Instructors to supervise and guide kids through a variety of after-school programming such as our sports sampler, gymnastics, soccer, ninja class, and drop-in Youth Center.
*Job Duties*: * Supervise children ages 5-14 during programming * Teach and supervise participants playing sports, games, and activities * Create a positive, enriching environment for children, leading activities with enthusiasm & excitement * Set up equipment needed for programming * Attend all staff meetings *Qualifications*: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Childcare experience required * Should enjoy working with children and families * Diligence in communication *Benefits include a free membership to the Y and the opportunity to participate in a 403(b).
