*Job Description* *The Production Tech* is responsible for processing, organizing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products in preparation for extraction and distribution.
In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing, filling product, labeling, and documentation is paramount.
The Production Tech is also responsible for maintaining a clean workspace.
The ideal candidate has a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and can work well alone or as part of a team.
*Responsibilities* * Filling, capping, and cleaning vape cartridges * Package concentrates, MIPs, and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations * Producing and packaging pre-rolls * Prepare plant material to be extracted * Fill out all required documentation completely and correctly * Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas and equipment throughout the day * Maintain strict quality standards while hitting daily production goals * Maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety protocols.
* Ability to adhere to all production SOP’s for a variety of different products * Maintain proper utilization of Personal Protective equipment (PPE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and emergency response procedures (fire, medical, and theft) * Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company maintain success *Qualifications* * High School Education or GED required * Professional experience in a fast paced, hands-on work environment * 1+ years working in production environment preferred * ServSafe or OSHA-10 certification preferred * Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative * Excellent listening and communication skills * Must remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry, including required background check * Must possess valid driver's license or state ID card * Must be a minimum of 21 years of age *Working Conditions* * This is a hands-on, cannabis production position.
You will be working in an indoor production facility with industrial lighting and occasional exposure to industrial noise * Plant material and particulate may be present on surfaces and in the air, extraction fumes may also be present; proper use of PPE at all times is of paramount importance * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions * Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus * Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 60 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product The Human Connection is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
