Position: Personal Training Director (PTD) The Personal Training Director position is a critical role for our members' fitness success plan! The Personal Training Director is responsible for the overall growth performance and member experience of our Personal Training Programs.
In the role you will spearhead sales, marketing, strategic planning, and development of your trainers.
Our PT Directors will work hand and hand with our Fitness Directors to ensure a positive member experience as they are introduced to the benefits of working with a Fitness Professional to assure their success as the begin their fitness journey with LA Fitness.
The Top 4 Duties of a PTD are to act as a:
• Team Builder responsible for hiring, training and continually developing a full, ethical, and professional team
• Customer Service Guru ensure ongoing client loyalty and grow the client base
• Head Trainer monitor the trainers to ensure the quality of their service (our product) is maintained at the highest possible level
• Sales Leader continues to generate new clients and service existing ones like a superior PTC Key responsibilities include: Sales & Marketing
• Generate new training clients while servicing existing clients
• Perform Fitness assessments on members which will include a demo experience of ‘working with a trainer’
• Develop and train current staff on personal training standards and expectations
• Continuously monitor and drive the club's financial growth targets Team Management
• Manage and develop your clubs Personal Trainers and Membership teams across sales, marketing, and member experience
• Responsible for hiring, training, and developing a professional team of trainers
• Create an enthusiastic work environment that is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about fitness
• Operations
• Monitor and Oversee staff scheduling
• Handle member service escalations and issues
• Ensure daily operational processes are followed (member service & follow-up, cleanliness of training area) We believe a successful Personal Training Director should have:

Pay: $15.
00 - $35.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
