Burgess School - Hampden, MAJOB TYPE: Grant-funded Independent Contract (approximately 16 hours/week, 12-24 months)Must be available/flexible for some after-school, evening, weekend, and summer workSALARY: Based on experience, range $22-28/hourJOB DESCRIPTION: The Coordinator will work under the general direction of the Project Director for the Hampden-Wilbraham Partners for Youth (HWP4Y) Coalition.
The Community Engagement/Communications Coordinator works with the Coalition to support communication and community involvement around effective education and prevention of underage drinking, substance misuse, and mental health awareness.
The Coordinator develops corresponding informational and educational materials, activities/social norms marketing, social media campaigns, and coordinate in-person and virtual events.
Weekend/evening hours will be needed on occasion to support Coalition events, presentations, and community tabling opportunities.
