Essential Functions: Consistently provides quality service to internal and external customers.
Consistently meets expectations of teamwork, punctuality, and regular reliable attendance.
Enhances the Florence Bank brand through communication strategies that reflect our core values and the Bank's mission.
Creates and manages a comprehensive social media strategy.
Develops content, schedules, and maintains posts and other notifications across social media platforms.
Integrates ideas and strategies into social media plans.
Is the primary liaison and responsible for managing the relationship with the Bank’s PR partner.
Tracks marketing expenses, produces, and prepares invoices, provides reports of expenditures as needed to assist the Marketing Director in managing the marketing budget.
Ensures the quality of communications leaving the Marketing Department by proofing, editing, and fact checking materials such as collateral, advertisements, website copy, emails, social media posts etc.
Monitors area advertising outlets including print publications for advertising, press mentions and any industry news that could impact the bank from a competitive or opportunistic perspective.
Shares content with internal stakeholders.
Is responsible for producing the annual Competitor Image Audit.
Supports the management of the Bank’s corporate giving and sponsorships.
Communicates with nonprofits to gather necessary information so decisions can be made.
Creates Board Memos for requests requiring Board approval.
Coordinates the delivery of logos, banners, and program ads as required.
Is Administrator of the Bank’s donations database.
Trains users, keeps the database clean and accurate, and provides reports for the strategic direction of Bank’s corporate gift giving program.
Coordinates the production of the annual custom calendar.
Coordinates the monthly new customer Welcome Mailing.
Is responsible for the coordination of trade shows, customer appreciation, customer choice banquet, and other Bank-hosted programs and events.
Identifies and books venues, chooses caterers, coordinates invitations, and other related event duties.
Assists with the management of marketing activities associated with the opening of new branches by helping to execute developed marketing plans, contracting with vendors, and communicating within the Bank, as well as with customers and prospects.
Participates on various committees as requested such as the Compliance Committee and is involved in Corporate and Division Projects as assigned.
Coordinates and manages the selection and ordering of bank premium items in support of the Bank’s business development efforts.
Responsible for internal communication as it pertains to marketing campaigns, new product kick-offs, and employee brand orientations.
Represents the Bank in a positive way by being involved in Bank-sponsored community and charitable events.

Demonstrates effective knowledge of bank products, services, and policies.
Consistently provides superior professional service to internal and external customers.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required: The following skills, experience, or background are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.
Undergraduate degree in English, Marketing or Business Communications Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data.
Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of personal computers.
Demonstrated experience with social media platforms.
Physical Demands/Condition Requirements: General office environment Frequent use of computer.
Sits for extended periods of time.
Travel to Bank’s branch offices.
Equipment Used: General office equipment.
