PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Executive Director of Marketing provides on property leadership over direct marketing strategy, casino marketing, promotions, MGM Rewards and brand verticals in collaboration with senior property leadership and attached COEs.
The Executive Director is to guide the department with strong leadership abilities and the capacity to influence, sound judgment, superior interpersonal decision making and problem-solving skills to positively impact the delivery of Marketing strategies and initiatives within MGM Resorts International.

Service Standards culture and guest experience in assigned property
Maintains a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, leadership development, mutual respect, and employee engagement in support of the company and property people strategies
Partners with direct marketing, casino marketing, loyalty marketing, and brand COE leadership in the development, execution, and refinement of the property operating model
Leads implementation of base management strategies to increase market share and maximize customer engagement and lifetime value, driven by analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of customer segmentation and journeys
Creates and sustains a culture of strong relationships and flawless provision of service to MGM’s best and most loyal customers along with an enhanced focus on sales and proactive outreach by the Casino Marketing Host Team to enhance loyalty from customers assigned to hosts, as well as promote cross-property hosted play
Provide oversight and guidance to leadership of MGM Rewards department (if applicable), ensuring consistently strong customer experience goals are developed and met
Works in collaboration with the commercial group to support and align with strategic deliverables
Ensures brand integrity across media channels, print, and digital in the execution of property advertising, messaging, and outreach
Leads the ideation and execution process related to property VIP, event, communications, and promotional calendars
Directs the analysis of program and initiative effectiveness across channels, working with the Marketing Analytics COE
Serve as a key member of property Executive Committee, as the primary representative of the voice of the customer in driving the property operating model and business strategy
Maintains confidentiality of all MGMRI trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
Manages team members in multiple disciplines to drive to aligned performance and other personnel actions, including but not limited to hiring/termination decisions, training, succession planning, disciplining and performance management
Develops and monitors departmental budget
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant field required, or equivalent experience
Four (4) years of experience years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Events, Media, Sales or other relevant experience
