Marketing and Development Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
Design project specific marketing efforts related to print media, social media, and promotions.
Design efforts to fortify the branding and enhance the image of Helix Human Services, secure more visibility to increase name recognition, and maintain the agency’s uniform organizational identity so that Helix Human Services increases and diversifies exposure presence.
Communications will include but not be limited to internal management, outside stakeholders, community partners, funding sources and Board of Directors.
Work closely with Chief Relations Officer to successfully implement programs, and strategies for the long-term cultivation, solicitation of development prospects.
Engage in activities that support the agency’s promotion and positive portrayal of children and families, and the programs that serve them.
Assist in managing and maintaining agency’s uniform organizational identity (branding) by overseeing uses employed by programs of Helix Human Services.
Manage planning, writing, and production of agency publications.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience and no less than 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of marketing, communications, or related field.
Must possess a thorough knowledge and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Adobe Creative, including Adobe InDesign, Photo Shop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge in Google Analytics and CANVA.
Must possess the skills for effective use of the English language to read, write, and speak (e.
g.
to express ideas, state facts, and provide information in person/reports/correspondences, to interpret/understand policies and procedures).
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects effectively.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with diverse constituencies.
Must be able to work with confidential material responsibly.
Flexibility in scheduling for special events and after-hour planning meetings.
Positive attitude, self-motivator, team-centric mindset.
Exceptional people, listening, and collaboration skills; self-starter.
Requires current valid driver’s license.
