This position will support the agency in developing and implementing a cohesive marketing and media plan to advance the agency's mission.
This position is full-time, 35 hours a week, and limited hybrid remote options may be available upon the successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.

In collaboration with departmental leadership, plan and implement the agencies' comprehensive communications & marketing strategies, including providing quality written and visual content for all platforms.
Design and organize a lively social media presence across all identified platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and LinkedIn.
Provide follow-up to questions posed on agency social media platforms.
Assist with developing agency marketing materials, including brochures, infographics, and other promotional items.
Work with departmental leadership to develop a new volunteer onboarding system and create regular outreach campaigns to recruit new volunteers.
Prepare media kits and write press releases for the leadership team.
Coordinate with the Community Services Director on developing the agency's annual Impact Report.
Receive outreach requests & coordinate outreach activities, including gathering relevant outreach material, day of event set-up, staff follow-up, etc.
Attend and take meeting minutes for the quarterly GSSSI advisory committee.
With assistance and direction from departmental leadership, organize and lead the agency's Diversity and Inclusion Committee meetings and provide follow-up to any action items identified as appropriate.
Assist departmental leadership with organizing and implementing various agency events, including the annual luncheon, March for Meals campaigns, Spirit committee, employee picnics, etc.
Assist the Community Services Director with the Federal Area Plan process, including focus group coordination, demographic research, and data compilation.
Professionally represent the agency as needed at community events
