About the Job: We're excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Community Relations Coordinator! Under the supervision of the Vice President, Community Relations, the Community Relations Coordinator supports various community related activities and programs to include community events, financial literacy and partnership programs.
This position requires attention to detail, creative problem solving, and forward thinking in process improvements.
The hiring range for this position is $20.
00 to $26.
00 hourly.
This position is Part Time, 25 hours weekly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May be Assigned): Supports the Bank's Founding Partnership with the Worcester Red Sox, and other corporate sponsorships: Most Valuable Teacher, WooStar, Police vs.
Fire, Fan Center Days at Polar Park and other opportunities as they arise.
Coordinates the food and beverage needs for suite nights.
Assists with WooSox ticket transfers, the Most Valuable Teacher and WooStar submissions and coordination of programs as needed.
Works collaboratively with the Marketing Team to provide support to contribute to new account acquisitions and Fan Center activations at Polar Park, and through Money School Programs by attending various related events.
Supports the Bank’s Financial Literacy Program – “Money School” – teaches in classroom programming as needed.
Coordinates the deliverables of Financial Literacy Programs.
May be required to present trainings and presentations to groups including but not limited to school assemblies, classroom programs and presentations.
Maintains content libraries at partner schools.
Assists with the Community Events calendar in Kadince and provides back up support for the Difference Makers Market.
Ensures all necessary supplies and items are delivered to support events, includes the coordination of and serves as the Bank’s mascot, Buck for special appearances if needed.
Serves as a Community Champion to support the Bank’s programs and events, by attending and supporting volunteers as needed.
Works with team members for promotional items needed to support programs and events.
Provides support and content for social media platforms to highlight events and programs in the communities we serve to help with earned media.
Responsible for building long-lasting relationships with customers, community and colleagues through the embodiment of our Core Values: Integrity, Service, Teamwork, Excellence and Prosperity.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills: This employee must be able to work equally successfully as an individual contributor and a team collaborator.
This employee should have strong customer service skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
This employee will interact with the community on a consistent basis and must evidence and portray the Core Values of Country Bank.
Knowledge of basic marketing and financial literacy principles.
This position requires intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Education and Work Experience: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
While an Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Work experience with a marketing focus is strongly preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: This position is in an office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise.
Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected.
Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; talking and hearing; and handling of light materials and supplies.
This position may require some travel between offices and requires more lifting, pushing, pulling, standing and reaching overhead.
