*Position Overview:*
Reliabilities engineer focus will be to determine, evaluate, and manage reliability of machine components, machines, and processes in a manufacturing setting where PTFE tube, stainless steel hose, and thermal plastic hose covers are manufactured.
*Working Team Leaders will on a day-to-day basis:*
· Work with Manufacturing engineering and maintenance team.
· Support production and other aspects of the plant as needed.
· Update engineering and maintenance team on ongoing and current activities.
· Plan reliability and maintenance activities.
· Look for opportunities to improve reliability of machines, and processes.
· Create and write procedures, processes, and instructions.
· Lead projects and project/process implementations.
*Responsibilities, but not limited to:*
· Loss elimination, track production losses and abnormally high maintenance costs, then find ways to reduce losses and high costs through root cause analysis with cooperation with production, engineering, and maintenance.
· Risk Management in line with organizations strategic plan in areas of safety, asset capability, quality, and production using hazard analysis, failure modes and effect analysis, criticality analysis, event tree analysis, and fault tree analysis tools.
· Life cycle asset management, be involved with new machine installation, evaluate new machine installation, modification of existing machines, and implement reliability and PM procedures.
· Reliability manufacturing role to work independently and as a team with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and production.
· Develop criteria for evaluation of equipment and technical MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) suppliers and technical maintenance.
· The role will own and/or maintain reliability on existing and new manufacturing machines, components, and processes.
· Communicate/work with process integrators, manufacturing engineers, maintenance technicians to identify, design and launch reliability initiatives and projects.
· Support engineering, maintenance, and production with asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, other parameters that define reliability, operating conditions, and cost.
· Work to minimize risk and impact of failure in equipment and processes.
· Create work instructions, tooling, checklists, and other documentation that will improve reliability and reduce risk.
· Lead various reliability projects and develop new methods for the preventative diagnosis of machine, machine component and process failures.
· Work with maintenance department to identify and improve existing PM schedules and procedures.
· Maintain procedures and instructions related to reliability manufacturing, and machine/process maintenance.
· Utilize predictive and other non-destructive testing methods designed to identify and isolate inherit reliability problems.
· Utilize data analysis techniques; Statistical process control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault tree analysis, six sigma.

*Minimum Competencies:*
*1.
* Mechanical and/or Reliability Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent.
*2.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
*3.
* Prior Reliability and manufacturing/production background and experience.
*4.
* Needs to be computer literate on basic computer programs (Word and Excel).
*5.
* Has knowledge of APQP and measurement systems.
*6.
* Data analytic skills.
*7.
* Familiarity with six sigma methodology.
*8.
* Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
*9.
* Able to use and follow relevant engineering and reliability processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $95,000.
