*Position Summary: *
A CNC Maintenance Technician will work to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Also, the CNC Maintenance Technician will help develop effective preventative maintenance programs, determine root cause of equipment failures, and implement permanent corrective repairs.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following: * Conduct full diagnostics and troubleshoot to limit the need for outside services related to CNC Machines.
* Perform troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment, Automated Gauges, and robotic systems.
* Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs to machining centers and manufacturing equipment as needed.
* Maintain vendor relationships, order materials, and obtain estimates of CNC related parts.
* Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts; checking fluid levels; replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance tasks.
* Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
* Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical, or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
* Plan and lay out repair work – using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals or schematic diagrams.
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
* Reports any safety violation, machining equipment misusage and/or improperly performed work to supervisor.
* Regular verbal or written communication to internal stakeholders utilizing both electronic and analog systems.
* Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Control.
Maintains positive, team relationship with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers.
* Participate in the operation of and compliance with all safety, hazardous material handling, and disposal requirements in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.
* Maintain a clean work environment (including assigned storage and cleaning duties) in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.
* Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.
e.
, shoes, eyewear, gloves, masks, shields, and coats) if needed.
* Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations.
* Complete testing and adjustment of parts, as needed.
* Identify and replace parts, as necessary.
* Other tasks as required.
*Experience, Education and Qualifications: * ** * High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
Skilled Trade Certification, preferred.
* Minimum of five (5) or more years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
* Experience working in AS9100 and ISO environment.
* Experience with Fanuc and/or CNC controls.
* Experience using lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodology.
* Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) a plus.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel) or related software * Excellent organizational skills (verbal and written) with an attention to detail and sense of urgency.
* Understanding and ability to work within an ERP system (Global Shop).
* Ability to adapt, prioritize, multi-task, and remain flexible to changes; responds with a sense of urgency.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, internally and externally.
* Ability to install, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
* Must be familiar with Fanuc, Okuma and Mitsubishi controlled CNC machines.
* Must have experience working on Doosan, DMG Mori, OKK, Okuma.
Mitsubishi and Fanuc CNC controlled lathe and milling machines.
