Responsibilities: - Perform carpentry tasks such as building, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials - Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall using hand and power tools - Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops - Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures - Fabricate and install wooden frameworks or structures for concrete pouring - Assist with concrete forming and pouring - Restore and repair water-damaged areas by removing damaged materials and replacing them - Apply stucco or other finishes to exterior surfaces Qualifications: - Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the restoration industry - Proficient in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry work - Knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes - Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time - Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
